Arqana has released the catalogue for its February Mixed Sale, which runs Feb. 11 and 12 and features 431 broodmares, fillies, horses in training, yearlings and 2-year-olds from both the flat and National Hunt realms. Horses in training will kick off the sale, and highlights of that section include Agnes (Fr) (Planteur {Ire}) (lot 25), a listed-placed 4-year-old filly with a rating of 93 whose third dam is the great mare Fall Aspen; and Made To Lead (Fr) (Linngari {Ire}) (lot 77), a 5-year-old filly who was stakes-placed last season and fourth in a Group 3.
The broodmares and fillies section, which numbers 234, includes Middle Channel (Ire) (Epaulette {Aus}) (lot 149), a half-sister to GI EP Taylor S. winner Folk Opera (GB) (Singspiel {Ire}); stakes producer Pearl Away (Fr) (Gold Away {Ire}) (lot 134) in foal to Cloth of Stars (Ire); stakes producer Dixie Dance (Ire) (Orpen) (lot 265) in foal to Recoletos (Fr); More Than Famous (Fr) (More Than Ready) (lot 288), a stakes-producing mare in foal to Saxon Warrior (Jpn); the 4-year-old filly Gazelle (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}) (lot 308), a half-sister to a listed winner whose third dam is a full-sister to Glorious Song, Devil's Bag and Saint Ballado; the listed-winning and group-placed Rockatella (Ire) (Rock of Gibraltar {Ire}) (lot 409) in foal to Wootton Bassett (GB); and Princess Bianca (Ire) (Rock of Gibraltar {Ire}) (lot 419), a full-sister to Group 1 winner Prince Gibraltar (Ire).
The yearlings on offer include lot 199, an Acclamation colt out of the stakes-placed Zaya (Ger) (Diktat); lot 351, Al Shahania Stud's Wootton Bassett colt out of the winning Look At That (Fr) (Monsun {Ger}), a daughter of Group 3 winner Peaceful Love (Fr) (Dashing Blade); and lot 379, a Le Havre (Ire) granddaughter of the stakes-winning Greek Air (Ire) (Ela-Mana-Mou {Ire}).
There are four wildcards still to be announced.
